I spent my first year with Lander International in a whirlwind of activity learning all the intricacies of coordinating interviews for candidates flying all over the country for interviews with Lander clients. Now, in a typical week I will be talking to people in practically every time zone imaginable trying to coordinate the ideal times for a phone interview or a face-to-face interview. Every time I hear of adverse weather in any part of the country, I worry about whether it will affect any of our candidates' flight schedules. Blizzards especially have me on edge because sometimes the candidates arrive safely but the hiring authorities cannot make it to their offices to interview our candidates. Thank goodness for teleconferencing! Now when someone is on an audit in China, they don't necessarily have to fly back to Dallas for a face-to-face interview.

Prior to becoming a Talent Coordinator (and Logistics Wizard), I worked in the field of education, working with struggling students as a Classroom Counselor and helping parents cope with adolescent development issues. My degree is from The College of Wooster in Ohio where I majored in History and Women's Studies.

I have always had a desire to help people and make a difference in people's lives. Assisting the Lander Team gives me plenty of opportunity to have an immediate impact. I especially enjoy meeting people from such diverse cultures all around the world and finding out about the wide range of corporate cultures in which auditors operate.
