Hello! I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself as Lander's Recruiting Director for the Midwest. I am dedicated to bringing Lander's professionalism in executive recruiting to this flourishing commercial hub of the central United States.

A native of the west coast, I attended the University of California, Berkeley and earned a degree in Cultural Anthropology. Three years with an engineering consulting firm as an analyst in the international business development group led me back to Berkeley for an MBA in Marketing. I worked for Apple Computer and later joined a boutique PR firm for high-tech start-ups. For over a decade my family and I made several moves between California and Asia, following the direction my husband's advertising career was taking him. While in Asia, I taught English and business courses for two national universities, and ran a successful communications consulting practice.

The diversity of my experience lends itself well to the field of executive search. I have a good understanding of cultural differences and value systems as a result of my travels and career experience. I apply my analytic skills to evaluating the cultures of my corporate clients in order to make the best matches between companies and candidates.

Having worked on the business side of technology-based companies, I have an affinity for the career goals of auditors and an understanding of the business goals of internal audit shops. I feel I can play a key role as sounding board and career counsel to both client companies and candidates. I pursued a fast track during my first years of work but have since had to come to grips with the realities of balancing my family life and career. I can truly appreciate the tough dilemmas my candidates sometimes have to face.
