"Which skills are most in demand for IT auditors right now? I fear I am not as technical as I should be."
The foundation of the IT audit skills set rests on four basic platforms: Unix,
Windows NT/2000, network security, and database technologies.

I frequently hear from my clients' hiring managers and directors that the IT Auditors they interview simply do not possess enough technical depth. Certainly not all IT audit jobs require the same level of technical expertise, but better to have more than enough rather than not enough.
