I am excited to be a part of the talented Lander Team. It is a pleasure to be working with a group of dedicated professionals who ensure quality placements for both our clients and candidates. Having worked in training and education for the past nine years, the field of recruiting has allowed me to apply my previous experience in invaluable ways. I am focused on the Texas region and thrilled to have the opportunity to impact my old stomping grounds. Growing up in Houston and attending the University of Houston gives me the background to understand the industry and job market expectations in Texas.

I have lived in different parts of the country and found each to be a unique experience. After graduating from the University of Houston, I set out on what has proven to be an exciting adventure in Colorado. After living there for five years, I met my husband and life led us to Virginia as a training team for a start-up telecommunications provider. The adventure continued in New Jersey where I made the transition to a career in education. From New Jersey, we made the move home for my husband to the San Francisco Bay Area. We are the proud parents of our two "boys", our two rescue dogs of questionable herding breeds.

My background prior to Lander was in retail, telecommunications, and education. As a result, I have been a part of different corporate cultures ranging from established companies to start-ups. I had the responsibility of providing both technical and soft skill trainings to people with diverse backgrounds. I enjoy the teaching and mentoring aspect of training and have seen the positive impact on not only career growth but the impact to the bottom line. I feel that it is important in any position within a company to be able to make a difference from a career growth perspective, impact my team, and to be able to contribute to the success of the company.

The audit profession is continually evolving and having an increasing impact on the company. I find it exciting to have the opportunity to assist companies and candidate to positively change the company and their respective industries. Working with such outstanding individuals who are shaping the dynamic field of audit is truly gratifying.

As a member of the Western Sunbelt Team, I have the opportunity to assist candidates and clients in Texas and Oklahoma. The wide array of industry and the numerous corporate headquarters in the area makes this a vibrant part of the country with numerous career opportunities.
